In 1991, the project “GEMINI habitable solar power plant” was only concerned with the energy question. The considerations on this were so far ahead of their time that the energy model was not confirmed until 2016 in the “Sector Coupling” study. The headline for the first draft of the investor documents in 2019 was “We also sell houses to minimum pensioners”. This stands for being able to provide a high standard of living at very low cost. With food production, a third essential component was added in 2020. Not only the fossil energy system, but also large-scale agriculture, must be replaced. Until now, a house has simply been a weather shelter that has enabled human activities regardless of the weather. The idea of a house was strictly separated from the production of energy and food. A distinction was therefore made between useful areas with fields and forests as opposed to useless areas with houses. They started to optimize these useless areas, higher and higher houses close to each other. They began to squeeze more and more money out of the people for the basic need of living by means of a shortage of areas on which houses could be built. There is this field near Anif, a noble suburb of Salzburg, where the farmer achieves 0.12 EUR turnover per square meter and year. In parallel, this building plot is for 1,200 EUR per square meter. This is the result of the idea of useful areas with fields and forests as opposed to useless areas with houses. But what if more food could be produced on a building plot than on a field, plus a lot of electricity and living space for a family? What if the argument of land sealing is crushed by the fact that a house can absorb more rainwater than a meadow? What if 100% renewable energy and food production were possible with the houses alone, the land for large-scale agriculture could be returned to nature? “GEMINI next generation” is the prototype for a new civilization. |
